2026 Aprilia RS 457

The new RS 457 is designed for riders who want a true sportbike experience: low seating position, precise steering, and stable cornering. The 457 cc parallel twin delivers strong midrange torque and continues to pull cleanly at higher rpm without becoming jumpy. The lightweight chassis turns in easily, remains stable in lean angles, and feels surprisingly mature — making leaning both effective and enjoyable.

Its direct competitors are Yamaha R7, Kawasaki Ninja 500 SE, and KTM RC 390. The Yamaha is more purist and race-focused but less practical. The Kawasaki is more user-friendly but less aggressive. The KTM is the most dynamic but can be demanding.

Within the Aprilia lineup, the RS 457 is the fully faired counterpart to the Tuono 457.
