2026 Bimota KB 399 ES

The all-new KB 399 ES is the upgraded version of the KB 399. Where the base model uses Showa suspension, this version features a fully adjustable Öhlins STX46 rear shock. The carbon bodywork — upper, side, and lower fairings made from dry carbon — was developed by Bimota craftsmen in Italy, just like the base model. Clip-on handlebars, CNC-machined brake and shift levers, and adjustable aluminum rearsets elevate the ES into a more focused sporting dimension. Engine, frame, brakes, and electronics are identical to the standard model.

The price premium over the KB 399 is significant. The ES is aimed at buyers who are unwilling to compromise on equipment and styling. Riders who primarily want to ride will be just as fast on the base version.

As a direct comparison, the KB 399 itself serves as the closest reference, being technically very similar but significantly cheaper. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR shares the engine and offers solid standard equipment at a fraction of the price. The Kove 450 RR, with its own inline-four and KYB suspension, targets the same high-revving audience, but remains far below in price.
