2026 BMW F 450 GS

The F 450 GS is the “small GS” in the best sense: upright, easy to handle, yet surprisingly mature in its riding feel. The newly developed parallel twin responds cleanly, delivers strong midrange power, and remains easy to control. Thanks to its low weight, it feels agile when turning in, stays stable in fast corners, and remains composed even on poor asphalt or gravel.

Direct competitors include KTM 390 Adventure X, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, and CFMOTO 450 MT. The KTM is more road-focused and very accessible but feels less like a true GS off-road. The Himalayan is robust and adventure-oriented but noticeably heavier. The CFMOTO offers strong equipment for the price but feels less refined.

Within the BMW lineup, the F 450 GS is the A2 entry point below the F 800/900 GS — lighter, more practical, and more everyday-friendly.
