2026 BMW M 1000 R

The M 1000 R is the most radical interpretation of BMW’s roadster concept. The 999 cc inline-four derived from the S 1000 RR delivers 210 hp and revs beyond 14,000 rpm, making the M significantly more aggressive than the standard S 1000 R.

On the road, it turns in with extreme precision, remains razor-sharp under heavy braking, and generates noticeable downforce at speed thanks to its winglets. The result is a hyper-naked that feels closer to a superbike than a traditional naked bike.

Compared to the Ducati Streetfighter V4, MV Agusta Brutale 1000, or Kawasaki Z H2, the BMW stands out with highly refined electronics, lower weight, and aerodynamic winglets.

Compared to the S 1000 R, the difference lies clearly in its motorsport focus: more power, shorter gearing, carbon components, and aerodynamic elements make the M significantly sharper, while the S remains the more practical and €6,660 cheaper alternative.
