2026 BMW R 12

The R 12 is the relaxed heritage cruiser in BMW’s lineup: low seating position, wide handlebars, and a focus on smooth riding. The air/oil-cooled 1,170 cc boxer delivers strong low-end torque and a refined, relaxed character. Riding modes allow a shift from relaxed cruising to slightly more dynamic performance without losing the cruiser feel.

Direct competitors include Triumph Bonneville Bobber, Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, and Harley-Davidson Nightster. The Triumph is more minimalist, the Royal Enfield offers strong value but less refinement, and the Harley is more modern but less classic.
