2026 BMW R 1300 GS Adventure

The R 1300 GS Adventure is the long-distance and expedition-focused version of the 1300 GS. The boxer engine with 145 hp and 149 Nm delivers strong midrange thrust, remains refined, and perfectly matches the bike’s confident character. On the road, the Adventure feels surprisingly neutral despite its size, offering excellent straight-line stability and composure at speed, though it requires more effort in tight corners compared to the slimmer GS.

Compared to the Ducati Multistrada V4, KTM Super Adventure, or Triumph Tiger 1200, the BMW has a shaft drive and its Telelever/Paralever suspension concept, while also offering exceptional wind and weather protection.

The main differences from the standard R 1300 GS are the 30-liter fuel tank, higher seating position, and increased weight — in return, it delivers greater touring range and long-distance comfort.
