2026 BMW R 1300 RT

The newly launched R 1300 RT targets high-mileage riders who want both dynamic performance and long-distance comfort. The 1,300 cc boxer delivers strong midrange power and smooth high-rev performance, perfectly matching the stable and composed riding character.

On the road, the RT impresses with neutral steering, excellent braking stability, and a clear separation of steering and suspension forces — especially beneficial on uneven roads and at high speeds.

Compared to the Honda Gold Wing, the BMW offers more dynamic feedback, while compared to the BMW K 1600 GT it benefits from lower weight and stronger low-end torque. Sport tourers like the Ninja 1100SX are lighter and more agile but lack the comfort and wind protection of the RT. Its strengths are stability, ergonomics, and advanced electronics, while price and weight remain its main drawbacks.
