2026 Brough Superior Pendine

The Pendine Sand Racer is named after the historic record machines that set speed records on the Welsh beach of Pendine Sands in the 1920s. The modern model uses the technical base of the SS 100 (997 cc V-twin, titanium frame, Fior/Hossack front suspension), but interprets the design as a refined scrambler: boot-shaped seat unit, small front cowl, distinctive slash-cut exhausts, and a cast-steel housing over the cylinder head.

Braking moves away from the 4D four-disc system to a conventional dual-disc Beringer setup at the front. Tires sized 120/70 ZR19 front and 170/60 ZR17 rear broaden the usage range compared to the SS 100.

The Pendine is offered in two versions — S (Sport) and D (Desert) — which mainly differ in tire setup. It is aimed at buyers who prefer a retro scrambler character over a classic naked bike. Technically, it is largely equivalent to the SS 100, but visually a completely different motorcycle. The closest comparison is the SS 100 itself, which shares the same platform at a similar price.
