2026 Ducati Diavel V4 RS
Desmosedici Stradale in a muscle bike – numbered racetrack DNA for everyday use
Price: EUR 38,990 + additional costs
The Diavel V4 RS is the most extreme evolution Ducati has ever extracted from a cruiser. Instead of the standard Diavel’s Granturismo V4, it uses the 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale engine from the Panigale superbikes, complete with desmodromic valve control, STM EVO SBK dry clutch, and Race mode. Its 182 hp at 11,750 rpm and 120 Nm at 9,500 rpm create a power-to-weight ratio unmatched in the power-cruiser segment. Standard carbon-fiber parts – including the air intakes, solo-seat tail, fenders, and tank covers – combine with fully adjustable Öhlins suspension and forged aluminum wheels to cut ready-to-ride weight by three kilograms versus the Diavel V4, to 233 kg.
Riders looking for a relaxed touring cruiser should choose the Diavel V4 with the Granturismo engine. The RS is uncompromisingly focused on maximum performance. Race mode switches off the rider aids, while the dry clutch announces every gear change with its characteristic rattle. At EUR 38,990, the RS costs more than a Panigale V4 – but no other muscle bike offers comparable technology. Every example carries a numbered aluminum plaque on the rear cylinder head.
There is little direct competition. The regular Ducati Diavel V4 is the closest reference point, with the RS premium justified by its engine and chassis. The Kawasaki Z H2 SE approaches the same performance territory as a supercharged naked bike. Yamaha’s V-Max is the historical benchmark for the category, but it is no longer in production.
