2026 Ducati Monster+

The Monster+ is aimed at riders who want to combine the purist character of the new Monster with a sportier appearance. Mechanically, it is completely identical to the base model: the new 890 cc V2 with variable valve timing (VVT) produces 111 hp and impresses with its instant throttle response, strong pulling power, and the lively character that is typical of Ducati. Its low weight and advanced electronics make the Monster+ an exceptionally agile naked bike, whether on twisty backroads or in everyday riding.

The difference compared to the standard Monster lies exclusively in the equipment. The Monster+ comes standard with a small cockpit fairing above the LED headlight as well as a painted passenger seat cover, both of which further emphasize its sporty appearance. Suspension, engine, electronics, and ergonomics remain completely unchanged.

Its strengths are precise handling, the characterful V2 engine, and high-quality workmanship. Weaknesses remain the limited wind protection and the sporty riding position on long-distance journeys. Its main competitors include the KTM 990 Duke, Triumph Street Triple 765 RS, Yamaha MT-09, and BMW F 900 R.
