2025 Harley-Davidson Freewheeler 3

The Freewheeler 3 represents the purest entry into Harley-Davidson’s trike lineup for 2026 and is aimed at riders who want to combine classic cruiser character with the stability of a three-wheeler. The new Milwaukee-Eight VVT 117 develops 105 hp and delivers enormous torque, accelerating the trike confidently even when fully loaded. Despite its imposing dimensions, the Freewheeler offers surprisingly easy handling, since balancing at a stop or during slow-speed maneuvering is no longer a concern.

Standout features include reverse gear for easier maneuvering, a comprehensive suite of rider aids with cornering ABS, traction control, and multiple riding modes, as well as the new Skyline OS infotainment system with a large TFT display. Compared to the more luxurious Street Glide 3, the Freewheeler deliberately forgoes a full fairing and extensive touring equipment, focusing instead on an open, classic cruiser appearance.

Its direct competitors include Indian Pursuit trike conversions and the Can-Am Spyder RT, although the Harley clearly emphasizes traditional V-twin character and an authentic cruiser riding experience.
