Review Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide ST (2026)
128 hp, 193 Nm, Forged Carbon—the King of the Baggers
The CVO Road Glide ST is Harley-Davidson’s most uncompromising performance-touring motorcycle: Milwaukee-Eight 121 High Output without variable valve timing, 128 hp (94 kW) at 5,020 rpm, 193 Nm at 3,750 rpm, high-performance camshaft, Heavy Breather air cleaner, 5,900 rpm rev limit. Fully adjustable SHOWA suspension. Forged Carbon details. Eight riding modes including Track and Track+. Floating brake discs. Sharknose fairing. 22.7-liter fuel tank. 90 dB(A), Tyrol-compliant. From €50,150 plus €560 transportation/setup. Four-year warranty.
As of: July 17, 2026 | Model: Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide ST (FLTRXSTSE; 2026; Milwaukee-Eight 121 HO; Performance Touring; full motorcycle license required) | Manufacturer: Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA | Price in Germany: from €50,150 plus €560 transportation/setup | Stationary noise: 90 dB(A), manufacturer figure; Tyrol-compliant | Warranty: 4 years
King of the Baggers. That is the name of the racing series in which Harley-Davidson has competed—and won—with heavily modified touring motorcycles since 2020. The CVO Road Glide ST is the production interpretation: what worked on the racetrack gets street approval. Harley-Davidson Düsseldorf puts it this way: “Every inch of the 2026 CVO Road Glide ST was engineered to ride harder, brake later, and accelerate sooner.”
That is an unusual statement for a touring motorcycle. Touring normally means comfort, luggage, long stages. Performance Touring means the same thing, only faster. The CVO Road Glide ST is Harley-Davidson’s interpretation of Performance Touring for 2026. Updated with new colors but unchanged mechanically, the motorcycle introduced in 2024 has matured.
Milwaukee-Eight 121 High Output: No VVT, Maximum Peak Performance Instead
1,923 cc—121 cubic inches. V-twin. Air- and oil-cooled. No VVT, or Variable Valve Timing. That is the engine decision that separates the CVO Road Glide ST from the CVO Street Glide with VVT. The HO engine gives up variable valve timing in favor of a high-performance camshaft, Heavy Breather air cleaner, and an increased rev limit of 5,900 rpm. The result is 128 hp (94 kW) at 5,020 rpm and 193 Nm at 3,750 rpm.
Harley-Davidson Düsseldorf: “The engine revs faster and higher than a standard Milwaukee-Eight and is more effective in the midrange.” That describes the character. This is not a low-end torque monster like a traditional Harley V-twin, but an engine that likes revs and makes its power there. Titanium mufflers come standard. Stationary noise is 90 dB(A), making it Tyrol-compliant.
Fully Adjustable SHOWA Suspension, Remote-Reservoir Rear Shocks
Up front is a 47 mm SHOWA USD fork with 117 mm of travel, fully adjustable for rebound, compression, and spring preload. At the rear are fully adjustable SHOWA twin shocks with external reservoirs. These are components you would expect on a high-performance sportbike, not on a 380 kg touring motorcycle.
The external reservoirs are the visual feature that separates the ST from the regular Road Glide.
Floating brake discs come standard. This is the braking detail derived from the King of the Baggers racebike: floating discs distribute heat and braking forces more evenly and allow later braking. On a street-legal touring motorcycle.
Eight Riding Modes Including Track and Track+
Road, Rain, Sport, Track, Track+, and three Custom modes. Eight freely selectable riding modes. Track and Track+ are the modes that communicate the King of the Baggers origins most clearly: Track mode for racetrack-oriented performance, Track+ for maximum capability.
All riding modes can be configured through the Skyline OS display. Skyline OS shows riding mode, suspension settings, and navigation simultaneously without overloading the cockpit.
Forged Carbon, Moto Bar, Sharknose Fairing
Forged Carbon is Harley-Davidson’s brand name for a short-fiber carbon composite material exclusive to CVO models. It is used on the fuel-tank side panels, fender details, and fairing components.
The Moto Bar handlebar with tall risers combines sporting control with touring comfort. The Sharknose fairing is mounted directly to the frame rather than to the fork as on the Street Glide.
Harley-Davidson Premium Audio and 22.7-Liter Fuel Tank
Harley-Davidson Premium Audio comes standard. The speaker system is integrated into the Road Glide fairing and provides music and navigation audio on long touring stages.
Fuel capacity is 22.7 liters. Harley-Davidson claims consumption of 5.7 L/100 km, providing a range of approximately 398 km. This is a genuine touring tank, large enough for long highway stages between fuel stops.
Seat height is 699–720 mm. That is low for a rider over 1.75 meters, and comfortable. Shorter riders should have no difficulty placing both feet flat on the ground at traffic lights.
From €50,150: Price and Positioning
From €50,150 MSRP ex-factory plus €560 transportation and setup, for a total price of approximately €50,710. That is very expensive.
The price is explained by the package: 128 hp V-twin, SHOWA suspension, floating brake discs, eight riding modes including Track+, Forged Carbon, Premium Audio, 22.7-liter fuel tank, and a four-year warranty. This is one of the most expensive street-legal motorcycles on the market.
The four-year warranty consists of a two-year manufacturer warranty plus a two-year extended warranty. This is Harley-Davidson’s warranty package fitted as standard to all 2026 Touring models.
Verdict
The 2026 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide ST is one of the most powerful and expensive touring motorcycles: 128 hp, 193 Nm, Milwaukee-Eight 121 HO, fully adjustable SHOWA suspension with external reservoirs, floating brake discs, eight riding modes including Track and Track+, Forged Carbon, Sharknose fairing, Premium Audio, 22.7-liter fuel tank, and 90 dB(A) Tyrol compliance.
From €50,150 plus €560 additional charges. For riders who want to live the King of the Baggers concept on the road.
