Review Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide Limited (2026)

115 hp VVT, 136 Liters, Alcantara—Luxury Touring Instead of Performance

The CVO Street Glide Limited is the counterpoint to the CVO Street Glide ST: no Track+ mode, no floating brake discs, no High Output engine. Instead: Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121 with 115 hp and 189 Nm from 3,000 rpm, Grand Tour-Pak with 136 liters of total capacity, six speakers, Alcantara seat inserts, heated seat, wireless Apple CarPlay, Skyline OS, and a 12.3-inch TFT. 417 kg ready to ride. From €50,500 plus €560. The ultimate luxury-touring motorcycle in the CVO lineup.

As of: July 17, 2026 | Model: Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide Limited (FLHXLSE; 2026; all-new; Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121; Luxury Touring; full motorcycle license required) | Manufacturer: Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA | Price in Germany: from €50,500 plus €560 transportation/setup; total price approx. €51,060 | Stationary noise: not published | Warranty: 4 years, 2-year manufacturer warranty + 2-year extended warranty

The 2026 CVO lineup is divided into two philosophies: performance and luxury. The ST models—the CVO Road Glide ST and CVO Street Glide ST—represent performance. The Limited models represent luxury. The CVO Street Glide Limited is the luxury interpretation: maximum comfort, maximum equipment, maximum material investment.

Harley-Davidson Germany: “Every line, every contour, and every nut and bolt on this motorcycle has been considered. This is about absolute dedication.”

That is a different kind of promise from the CVO Street Glide ST with its racetrack focus, Track+ mode, and floating brake discs. The Limited says you should travel as comfortably and luxuriously as a motorcycle allows. Six speakers. 136 liters of luggage capacity. Alcantara. Heated seat. Apple CarPlay. That is the promise.

Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121: The Touring Engine

1,923 cc. 45-degree V-twin. Variable Valve Timing, VVT. Liquid-cooled cylinder heads. 115 hp at 4,500 rpm. 189 Nm at 3,000 rpm. This is the VVT engine already used in the standard CVO Street Glide and the updated CVO Street Glide introduced from 2025.

The difference from the Milwaukee-Eight 121 HO in the ST models is VVT instead of a fixed camshaft. That means more torque earlier in the rev range—189 Nm at just 3,000 rpm instead of 193 Nm at 3,750 rpm from the HO. For long-distance touring, that is the proper engine profile.

Harleysite.de: “The Milwaukee-Eight 121 VVT uses variable valve timing for optimum power delivery across the entire rev range. Liquid-cooled cylinder heads ensure consistent performance even at high temperatures and over long distances.”

This is the touring engine in its optimum configuration: dependable, refined, and designed for long-distance use.

Grand Tour-Pak: 136 Liters of Total Capacity

The Grand Tour-Pak is the defining feature of the Limited lineup. The top case has been redesigned for 2026 with a flush-mounted LED light and revised styling. Total luggage capacity is 136 liters, distributed between the side cases and top case.

That is enough storage for an extended trip: a week’s worth of clothing, helmet, rain gear, and tools. If you travel for several days by motorcycle and do not want to compromise on luggage, 136 liters is the answer.

The seven-spoke split-design chrome wheels are the Limited’s visual signature compared with the ST’s forged-aluminum wheels. The Limited’s paintwork is also more elaborate, with metallic gradients, precision pinstriping, and PVD coatings.

Harley-Davidson Germany describes the CVO Street Glide Limited as defining the art of Grand American Touring.

Alcantara, Heated Seat, Six Speakers

Alcantara seat inserts. It is the material that defines the interiors of luxury sports cars. On a motorcycle seat, it signals a target audience that considers quality of materials a significant part of the buying decision.

A heated seat comes standard. On long fall and spring rides, that can make a decisive difference in comfort.

Six speakers with the Stage II system are distributed across the fairing, Tour-Pak, and lower fairings. Harleysite.de describes the identical audio setup on the CVO 3 Limited as delivering concert-like sound capable of overcoming wind and other road noise. That is the ambition of the Premium Audio system.

Wireless Apple CarPlay comes standard. So does a 12.3-inch TFT touchscreen with Skyline OS, integrated navigation, and Over-the-Air updates.

417 kg and the Logic of Luxury Touring

417 kg ready to ride. That is 47 kg—more than 100 pounds—heavier than the CVO Street Glide ST at 370 kg. The Grand Tour-Pak, chrome equipment, and luxury components all add weight.

A 417 kg touring motorcycle is, unfortunately, not shocking in the luxury segment. The BMW K 1600 GTL weighs 348 kg, while the Honda Gold Wing weighs 390 kg. The Limited is heavier than both—but it also carries more equipment.

For riders who regard touring as an end in itself, the weight is not necessarily a disadvantage. It is the price of comfort.

From €50,500: The Limited in Comparison

From €50,500 plus €560, for a total price of approximately €51,060. That is €350 more than the CVO Street Glide ST at €50,150 plus €560, or €50,710 total.

For the additional €350, you get VVT instead of HO, Grand Tour-Pak instead of a sport handlebar, 417 kg instead of 370 kg, Alcantara instead of Forged Carbon, and touring instead of performance.

That is the choice between two motorcycle philosophies at almost exactly the same price.

Verdict

The Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide Limited is the luxury-touring flagship of the two-wheel CVO lineup: Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121 with 115 hp and 189 Nm from 3,000 rpm, 136-liter Grand Tour-Pak, six speakers, Alcantara, heated seat, Apple CarPlay, 12.3-inch TFT with Skyline OS, and PVD paintwork.

417 kg ready to ride. From €50,500 plus €560.

For riders who want to travel, not race.
