330 cc, liquid-cooled four-stroke single-cylinder engine, eSP+, enhanced Smart Power Plus, SOHC, PGM-FI fuel injection, Euro 5+. Output is 21.5 kW / 29 hp at 7,500 rpm, with maximum torque of approximately 32 Nm. A continuously variable CVT transmission with centrifugal clutch and belt drive means low maintenance and no chain servicing. Just open the throttle and ride: no clutching, no shifting.

The eSP+ engine incorporates technology derived from Honda’s superbike and enduro programs: an oil jet for piston cooling, as used on the Fireblade and CRF450R, a timing chain with hydraulic tensioner for reduced maintenance, and a crankshaft that is 10 percent lighter. The result is immediate throttle response, smooth acceleration, and a distinctive, deep exhaust note.

Acceleration is brisk and the SH 350i reaches a genuine 135 km/h. That is enough for urban expressways, secondary roads, and short highway stretches. Real-world average fuel consumption is approximately 3.9 L/100 km when ridden sportily, while restrained throttle use can bring it below 3.1 L/100 km. With the 9.1-liter fuel tank, range is approximately 230–290 km.

HSTC traction control comes standard. It compares front- and rear-wheel speeds and reduces fuel delivery when wheelspin is imminent. The system can be switched off.

Since model year 2025, the SH 350i has met Euro 5+ through new ECU mapping, a revised muffler, modified catalytic converter, second oxygen sensor, and OBD2 interface.

The chassis uses a steel double-cradle frame. Up front is a telescopic fork, with twin shocks at the rear.

Wheel diameter is 16 inches front and rear—larger than the 13- or 14-inch wheels commonly used on urban scooters. That provides better straight-line stability and more secure cornering.

Michelin City Grip 2 tires come standard, sized 110/70-16 front and 130/70-16 rear. These are not low-cost OEM compromise tires, but proven rubber for wet and dirty road surfaces.

Braking comes from 256 mm discs front and rear, with two-channel ABS standard.

Ground clearance is 130 mm, seat height 805 mm, and fully fueled weight 172 kg.

Handling is as stable as you would expect from 16-inch wheels: good straight-line stability, easy maneuverability in city traffic, and pleasant comfort.

The flat step-through makes getting on and off easy and is a defining feature of the SH line. At low speeds in city traffic—walking pace, tight U-turns, parking—the SH 350i feels lighter than its 172 kg would suggest.

Smartkey comes standard, providing keyless central locking for the ignition, seat, and fuel filler. The Smart Top Box can also be locked and unlocked through the Smartkey system.

The helmet compartment beneath the seat is illuminated, a feature introduced for MY2025. It makes finding stored items at night or in underground parking garages considerably easier.

The glove compartment includes a USB-C charging port.

The LCD cockpit displays speed, time, fuel level, and trip-computer information.

Full LED lighting comes standard, including headlight, turn signals, and taillight. The LED headlight uses a central high beam flanked by two low-beam units and DRL position lights. Taillight and turn signals are integrated into the aluminum passenger grab handles.

The Smart Top Box comes standard in Germany. The €7,209 MSRP includes the top case.

The windshield is not adjustable.

An Urban Package is available for high-mileage riders and commuters, including an adjustable windshield with color-matched mounting hardware and additional components. Genuine Honda accessories are also available individually.

The design was created in Atessa, Italy, at Honda’s plant near Rome in cooperation with Italian designers.

Handling: City, Commuting, Backroads—More Versatile Than Its Urban-Scooter Image Suggests

The SH 350i is primarily an urban scooter, but its 29 hp and 16-inch wheels also make it capable on backroads and short highway sections at a genuine 135 km/h.

The combination of immediate throttle response, CVT automatic transmission, and stable chassis makes the SH 350i exceptionally relaxing to ride: no clutch lever, no shift lever, no missed shifts.

In city traffic, it is quick, agile, and enormously entertaining. On backroads, it is stable and composed.

The 805 mm seat height is moderate for a scooter, and riders from approximately 1.70 meters tall should be able to reach the ground securely.

A direct comparison is the SYM Joyride 16 at €4,799, a 300 cc scooter without a top case.
