The Roadmaster Elite is a decked out special edition based on the air-cooled Thunderstroke V2 platform. It features a large fairing, top case, and fixed luggage system, focusing on exclusivity, high equipment levels, and traditional long-distance touring.

Direct competitors include the Honda Gold Wing Tour DCT Airbag, Harley-Davidson Road Glide Limited, and BMW R 18 Transcontinental. The Honda offers more comfort and protection, the Harley follows a classic US touring concept, and the BMW provides modern engineering but less power.

Within the Indian lineup, the Roadmaster Elite sits above the standard Roadmaster, Dark Horse, and Limited as the most exclusive Thunderstroke touring model.
