2026 Italjet Dragster 200

The Italjet Dragster 200 is not a scooter for pragmatists. It’s a rolling design statement: exposed trellis frame, hub-center steering, single-sided front swingarm — a layout last seen on the original model of the 1990s.

The 181 cc DOHC single produces 17.5 hp and drives a lightweight 128 kg package on Pirelli tires. Brembo calipers front and rear and full LED lighting come standard. In its niche — urban riders with a taste for the extraordinary — there is simply no real alternative.

Storage is nonexistent, the cockpit is minimal, and the dealer network in Germany is limited. The hub-center steering requires an adjustment period. Riders expecting conventional scooter handling will need time to adapt. With just a 9-liter fuel tank, range is limited.

There is hardly any direct competition — both a blessing and a drawback. In terms of price, the Aprilia SR GT 200 and Honda SH 350i operate in a similar range, but offer completely different characters: practical instead of spectacular. If you want spectacle, the Italjet doesn’t charge extra for it.
