2026 Jawa JD 750 Retro

The new JD 750 Retro successfully bridges the gap between tradition and modern engineering. Externally, its round headlight, classic fuel tank, and upright riding position recall Jawa’s iconic motorcycles of decades past, while beneath the styling lies an entirely modern machine. The 730 cc parallel twin, co-developed with Suter Racing, produces the same 75 hp as the Mash and impresses with refined running characteristics and strong midrange pull.

On winding backroads, the Retro feels balanced and confidence-inspiring. Its comfortably tuned suspension and relaxed ergonomics make it an enjoyable companion on longer journeys without demanding an aggressively sporty riding style.

Standout features include the Marabese-designed styling, high-quality finish, and the large 18-liter fuel tank, which gives the Retro an impressive touring range. Its main competitors include the Moto Guzzi V7 Stone, Triumph Speed Twin 900, Kawasaki Z650RS, and Benelli Leoncino 800.
