2026 KTM 1390 Super Adventure R

The 1390 Super Adventure R is KTM’s most extreme travel enduro for riders who want to combine range and power with serious off-road capability. The large V-twin delivers strong midrange thrust, responds precisely to throttle input, and remains controllable even at higher speeds.

On the road, the R feels surprisingly agile despite its 21-inch front wheel, turns willingly, and remains very stable under hard braking. Once the pace increases, it delivers a strong sense of composure. Off-road, the long-travel suspension provides significant reserves and maintains traction even on rough terrain.

Compared to the BMW R 1300 GS, Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally, or Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally, the KTM places greater emphasis on sportiness and suspension travel, while competitors often prioritize comfort and wind protection.

Within the Super Adventure family, the R clearly differentiates itself from the S and S EVO with its 21/18 wheel setup and longer suspension travel, while the S models focus more on road performance with 19/17 wheels.
