2026 KTM 1390 Super Adventure S Evo AMT

The all-new 1390 Super Adventure S Evo AMT is clearly aimed at road-focused touring riders who want performance and comfort without operational effort. The 1,350 cc V-twin delivers 173 hp, pushes strongly from the midrange, revs freely, and remains surprisingly precise in combination with the semi-active suspension. Despite the 19-inch front wheel, it turns in willingly, remains stable under hard braking, and delivers a high level of composure at speed.

Compared to the standard Super Adventure S, the AMT system is the defining difference: gear changes are automated or can be controlled via the handlebar, eliminating the need for clutch operation. Compared to the Super Adventure R, it lacks the 21/18 off-road layout but offers a more road-focused and comfort-oriented setup.

In comparison to the BMW R 1300 GS, Ducati Multistrada V4, and Triumph Tiger 1200, it stands out with performance, electronics, and suspension range, though it feels firmer and is positioned at a premium price point.
