2026 KTM 690 Enduro R

The updated 690 Enduro R remains one of the most uncompromising dual-sport machines for riders who truly want to ride fast off-road. The revised single-cylinder delivers strong low-end torque, responds cleanly to throttle input, and feels more refined on connecting road sections without losing its raw character.

Off-road, the fully adjustable suspension offers strong reserves, while on asphalt the tall seat height and long suspension travel demand concentration. Strengths are the engine and chassis quality, while weaknesses include the demanding ergonomics and limited long-distance comfort.

Compared to the previous GasGas ES700, the KTM feels sportier and more powerful, while the Husqvarna 701 Enduro remains technically similar but leans more toward modern features and everyday usability.

The 690 Enduro R is aimed at experienced off-road riders with clear performance ambitions.
