2026 KTM 790 Duke

The 790 Duke remains KTM’s precision tool for twisty roads. The 799 cc parallel twin delivers 95 hp and 87 Nm and focuses less on peak power than on immediate midrange response.

On twisty roads, the KTM feels extremely agile: rapid turn-in, clear feedback, and very light handling define the riding experience. The engine responds instantly and matches the firm chassis perfectly.

Compared to the Honda CB750 Hornet or Suzuki GSX-8S, it stands out with lower weight and sharper geometry but feels less comfort-oriented. A Yamaha MT-09 offers significantly more power but comes at a higher price and feels less minimalistic.

The greatest strength of the 790 Duke is its razor-sharp handling—hence its nickname, “The Scalpel.”
