2026 KTM RC 390 Review

The RC 390 is the purist choice for sporty road riders seeking lightweight precision and strong front-end feel. The single-cylinder responds instantly, revs eagerly, and matches the firm chassis that turns in neutrally and remains stable under heavy braking. The strong focus on control makes it appealing even to experienced riders who generate speed through clean lines rather than displacement.

Compared to the Yamaha R3, Aprilia RS 457, or Kawasaki Ninja 500, the KTM offers less refinement and low-end torque but counters with lower weight, sharper ergonomics, and more precise feedback.

Within the RC lineup, it remains the sharpest street-legal A2 supersport model.
