2026 Kymco X-Town ST 250i

The X-Town ST 250i positions itself as a sport-touring scooter in the lower midsize class. Keyless-Go, traction control, LED lighting, and a multifunction display are standard. The windscreen provides good protection, and the riding position remains upright. In terms of price, the Kymco clearly undercuts Japanese competitors.

The fuel tank holds only 10.5 liters, limiting range to just under 330 km. At 178 kg fully fueled, the X-Town is not particularly light. TFT display and smartphone connectivity are missing. The model is aimed at beginners and pragmatic riders looking for solid equipment at a fair price without premium ambitions.

In direct segment comparison: The Yamaha XMAX 300 offers more displacement, a TFT cockpit, and larger storage, but is significantly more expensive. The Honda Forza 350 delivers 29 hp and a standard top case, but also operates in a higher price bracket. The Kymco Downtown GT 350i TCS is the in-house alternative: more displacement, more torque, and only slightly more expensive.
