2026 Moto Guzzi V7 Special

The V7 Special is the most “classic” version of the V7 lineup: plenty of metal, spoked wheels, and relaxed ergonomics. The transverse-mounted 90° V-twin responds smoothly to throttle input, delivers strong midrange torque, and perfectly suits relaxed backroad riding rather than high-rev performance. It feels stable and forgiving, turns in neutrally, and delivers that unmistakable mechanical Moto Guzzi character—combined with the effortless composure of shaft drive.

Direct competitors include chain-driven models such as Triumph Speed Twin 900, Kawasaki Z650RS, and Ducati Scrambler Icon. The Triumph feels more powerful and modern but is more expensive. The Kawasaki is highly accessible and comfortable but lacks character. The Ducati is lighter and more agile but sits at a higher price point.

Within the V7 lineup, the Special sits stylistically above the Stone (more modern and minimal) and below the Sport as the more performance-oriented variant.
