The V7 Sport is aimed at riders who want classic Guzzi character but don’t want to compromise on suspension and braking performance. The transverse 90° V-twin delivers smooth throttle response, strong midrange torque, and feels noticeably more responsive thanks to Euro 5+ updates. Up front, the upside-down fork and dual-disc braking system provide a more performance-oriented setup, while IMU-based cornering ABS, traction control, and riding modes significantly improve stability in fast riding conditions.

Direct competitors include the Triumph Speed Twin 900, Kawasaki Z650RS, and the Ducati Scrambler Icon. The Triumph feels stronger and more modern but costs more. The Kawasaki is the most balanced and accessible but less characterful. The Ducati is lighter and more agile but positioned higher in price and lifestyle appeal.
