Availability in Germany—the Situation as of April 2026

Moto Morini has finally named a new German importer: KSR. Final German pricing has not yet been announced, either for the AlltrHike or for the manufacturer’s other models. The EUR 5,890 Standard and EUR 6,140 High Equipped figures are confirmed Italian list prices. In the United Kingdom, the motorcycle is available from April 2026 at GBP 5,299. An Austrian dealer listing at EUR 6,990 has also been documented.

For prospective buyers in Germany, ask Moto Morini or the nearest authorized dealer for the current German price before making a purchasing decision. The technical description in this review is complete and can serve as a basis for that later decision.

Moto Morini: 1937 to Today—and What That Means for the AlltrHike

Moto Morini was founded in Bologna in 1937. The brand became known for distinctive V-twin designs, with the 3½ V-twin of the 1970s still regarded by enthusiasts as a benchmark. After several ownership changes and financial difficulties, Moto Morini was acquired in 2018 by China’s Zhongneng Vehicle Group, ZNEN. Design and development remain in Milan, while production takes place in China. That formula helps explain the low price: Italian development combined with Chinese high-volume manufacturing.

The AlltrHike engine was not developed in Milan. It is the CFMoto 449 cc parallel twin used in the CFMoto 450 MT. That is not a criticism. The engine has demonstrated everyday usability in the 450 MT and Ibex 450, including reasonably long service intervals. But it is relevant information for buyers.

Engine: CFMoto 449 cc Twin, 270-Degree Crank, 45 hp

The liquid-cooled DOHC parallel twin displaces 449 cc and uses a 270-degree crankshaft, producing a V-twin-like firing interval and a distinctive exhaust note. Output is 45 hp at 8,500 rpm, with 42 Nm at 6,500 rpm. A six-speed transmission, chain final drive, Euro 5+ compliance, and unrestricted A2 legality complete the package. Top speed is around 150 to 155 km/h.

Based on the source author’s own experience with the CFMoto 450 MT, the engine is actually a plus: proven and reliable. The hope is that Moto Morini has eliminated the mildly annoying low-rpm surging noted on the CFMoto 450 MT. Otherwise, it is an agreeable, evenly pulling twin with a familiar two-cylinder character.

Chassis: Fully Adjustable KYB, 208–210 mm Front Travel, Radial J.Juan Caliper

KYB supplies the 41 mm USD fork with roughly 210 mm of travel and full adjustment for preload, rebound, and compression damping. The rear KYB monoshock uses a linkage, provides 190 mm of travel, and is also adjustable. Ground clearance is 220 mm. The chassis uses a steel trellis frame and aluminum swingarm. Tubeless 21/18-inch wire-spoke wheels are identical to those on the CFMoto 450 MT.

Braking is handled by a radial four-piston J.Juan caliper on a 320 mm front disc and a two-piston J.Juan caliper on a 255 mm rear disc. Rear ABS can be switched off. In Offroad mode, both rear-wheel ABS and traction control are disabled. Two riding modes, Standard and Offroad, cover pavement and light dirt use. The AlltrHike is manageable, even if there are still more accessible motorcycles in the segment.

Ergonomics: 847 mm, Wide Handlebar, Adjustable Windshield

Official seat height is 847 mm, relatively low for a 450-class adventure enduro with a 21-inch front wheel. The handlebar is adjustable on three axes, and the footpeg position can also be changed. The windshield can be adjusted while riding, although it pivots forward and backward rather than moving vertically. A center stand and engine protection are standard.

Moto Morini officially quotes 170 kg dry, but independent sources consider that figure unrealistic. A more plausible estimate is around 190 kg dry and approximately 204 kg ready to ride. That is slightly more than the CFMoto 450 MT and not far from a Yamaha Ténéré 700. The 18.5-liter tank also places a substantial amount of weight high on the motorcycle. Buyers should therefore plan around roughly 204 kg ready to ride rather than the official 170 kg dry figure.

Standard Equipment and High Equipped Version

Standard equipment on both versions includes a horizontal TFT display with Carbit Ride navigation mirrored through Mirror Link, USB-A and USB-C ports, an adjustable windshield, traction control, switchable rear ABS, two riding modes, a center stand, engine protection, and full LED lighting. The Standard version is offered in Jungle Green and Night Black at EUR 5,890 in Italy.

The High Equipped version adds heated grips, a heated seat, and hand guards. It is available only in white and costs EUR 6,140 in Italy, just EUR 250 more. German prices had not been confirmed by the editorial deadline.

Moto Morini provides a three-year unlimited-mileage warranty on all of its models. That is unusual in the segment. Royal Enfield also offers three years, while the source lists Honda, Yamaha, and Kawasaki at two years. For Moto Morini, whose German dealer network is not yet firmly established, the warranty sends a clear signal of confidence.

Price Positioning and Competition

The Italian Standard price is EUR 5,890. The CFMoto 450 MT costs around EUR 6,500 in Germany, uses the same engine, is already proven in the market, and benefits from a more established dealer network. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is around EUR 6,000 with a single-cylinder engine and lower weight. The KTM 390 Adventure R starts at around EUR 7,800 with 45 hp. The Rieju Aventura Rally 307 costs EUR 4,790 with 33.5 hp and lower weight. The Honda NX500 is around EUR 8,400 with 48 hp, a 35 kW parallel twin, and E-Clutch according to the source.

If the AlltrHike reaches Germany at a price close to the Italian figure, it will be highly competitive against the CFMoto 450 MT while adding greater design appeal for riders attracted by the Moto Morini name.

Verdict

The Moto Morini AlltrHike 450 is a technically sound A2 adventure bike with a proven CFMoto twin, solid KYB suspension, and a three-year warranty that stands out in the segment, all positive attributes. What complicates the buying decision in Germany is the market situation: a new importer, no confirmed German pricing yet, and no established dealer network. Anyone who wants one will need to verify where it can actually be bought and at what price.

Quick Check

+ CFMoto 449 cc twin with 270-degree crank: proven engine from the 450 MT; 45 hp; A2 compliant; three-year unlimited-mileage warranty on all Moto Morini models.

+ Fully adjustable KYB suspension: fork with preload, rebound, and compression adjustment; rear shock with preload and rebound; around 210 mm front / 190 mm rear travel; 220 mm ground clearance; tubeless 21/18-inch wire-spoke wheels.

+ Radial four-piston J.Juan front caliper with 320 mm disc; switchable rear ABS; two riding modes; traction control; center stand and engine protection standard.

+ Equipment includes TFT navigation with Carbit Ride/Mirror Link, USB-A + USB-C, adjustable windshield, and three-axis adjustable handlebar. High Equipped adds heated grips, heated seat, and hand guards for EUR 250.

+ EUR 5,890 Standard in Italy: highly competitive within the segment.

– Germany: new importer and no confirmed German price as of late April 2026; prospective buyers need to verify availability. Austrian listing observed at EUR 6,990.

– Official 170 kg dry weight appears unrealistic; independent sources estimate around 190 kg dry / approx. 204 kg ready to ride. Nearly 20 liters of fuel also puts considerable mass high on the bike.

– Engine is the CFMoto 449 cc twin rather than an in-house design; questions remain as to whether Moto Morini has eliminated the mild low-rpm surging experienced on the CFMoto 450 MT.

– Windshield adjusts only forward/backward rather than vertically.

– Stationary noise has not been officially published; confirm Tyrol compatibility with dealer.

– German dealer network is still being built; warranty is tied to servicing through an authorized Moto Morini dealer.
