2026 MV Agusta Brutale 800

The Brutale 800 is the “lightweight” entry into MV’s naked lineup—less aggressive than the 1000 models but significantly more playful. The 798 cc triple responds cleanly, revs freely, and delivers exactly the kind of punch that makes backroad riding enjoyable without constantly overwhelming the rider. The chassis is firm, the front end turns in precisely, and the dual 320 mm discs offer stable and controllable braking.

Direct competitors include the Triumph Street Triple 765, Ducati Monster, and Yamaha MT-09. The Triumph is sharp and highly usable but less exclusive. The Ducati delivers torque and style but is less rev-focused. The Yamaha offers strong value but lacks the premium feel.

Within the MV family, the RR is more powerful and refined, while the standard 800 remains the most playful and accessible option.
