2026 MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR Ottantesimo

The Brutale 800 RR is the attack version of MV Agusta’s 800: stronger at the top end, hungrier for revs, and noticeably firmer and more direct overall. The 798 cc triple responds to the throttle with razor-sharp immediacy, spins eagerly into the upper rev range, and retains a wonderfully mechanical feel – exactly the kind of character that works on a fast, winding backroad. It tips into corners easily, stays planted at lean, and the Brembos bite hard without ever feeling vague.

Its direct rivals are the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS, Ducati Monster SP, and Yamaha MT-09 SP. The Triumph is more precise and more plug-and-play, but less exotic. The Ducati scores with punch and everyday usability, yet is not as eager to rev. The Yamaha delivers exceptional performance for the money, but cannot match the MV’s finish or sense of drama.

Compared with the standard Brutale 800, the RR feels clearly more aggressive and more track-focused.
