Review MV Agusta Enduro Veloce 950 (2026)

124-hp Triple, Now With Everything Travelers Need

Varese’s first adventure bike is now complete. For 2026, MV Agusta has recognized what travelers actually need: aluminum side cases standard, crash bars standard, LED auxiliary lights standard, center stand standard, and Bridgestone AT41 tires from the factory. The engine is unchanged and better than ever: a 931 cc triple producing 124 hp and 102 Nm, with a counter-rotating crankshaft, Euro 5+ compliance without a loss of performance, EAS 4.0 quickshifter, four riding modes including Off-Road, and a complete electronics package. Five-year warranty. EUR 19,100 plus EUR 495 ancillary charges.

From Supersport DNA to Adventure Touring

EICMA 2023. Varese presents its first adventure motorcycle: the Enduro Veloce. An adventure tourer from a brand whose DNA comes directly from racing. It was one of the most controversial new MV Agustas in years, and the question was legitimate: can a manufacturer built around supersport motorcycles create a credible adventure bike?

For 2026, MV Agusta has answered the second question: what do travelers actually need? Aluminum side cases, crash bars, a center stand, and LED auxiliary lights now come from the factory rather than from the accessory catalog. The source cites motorrad-magazin.at as concluding that MV Agusta has clearly learned, after two model years worth of experience, that Enduro Veloce buyers are real adventurers and travelers who expect substantially more standard equipment.

Engine: 124 hp, 57 kg Engine Weight, Counter-Rotating Crankshaft

The engine is a liquid-cooled 931 cc inline-three weighing 57 kg. It produces 124 hp, or 91.2 kW, at 10,000 rpm and 102 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Crucially, 85 percent of peak torque is already available from 3,500 rpm. That is what separates a good adventure-touring engine from a race motor: usable torque early in the rev range rather than headline horsepower available only near redline.

The counter-rotating crankshaft follows the same engineering philosophy used on MV Agusta’s high-performance models. By reducing the engine’s gyroscopic effect, it improves agility during direction changes. It is unusual technology in an adventure tourer and gives the Enduro Veloce a distinctly MV character. Euro 5+ compliance arrives without any loss of performance. The EAS 4.0 bidirectional quickshifter is the latest generation of MV’s system and represents another update over the previous model.

The 2026 Upgrades to Standard-Equipment

Aluminum side cases including their mounting frames are now standard. So are crash bars, a center stand, LED auxiliary lights, and Bridgestone AT41 tires as original equipment. The AT41 is a mixed-use tire intended for pavement and light off-road riding. These are five concrete upgrades that no longer require extra spending. Buyers of the 2025 Enduro Veloce paid separately for these items. For 2026, they are included.

MV Agusta has also made a complete electronics package standard across its 2026 range, and the Enduro Veloce benefits accordingly. Riding modes are Urban, Touring, Off-Road, and Custom All-Terrain. Traction control, engine braking, and throttle response are configurable. A 5.5-inch TFT, MV Ride app, navigation, cornering ABS, Launch Control, and cruise control are all standard.

Chassis: Sachs Suspension, 21-Inch Front Wheel, 235 kg

A fully adjustable 48 mm Sachs USD fork handles the front, while the rear uses a fully adjustable Sachs monoshock. The chassis combines a steel double-cradle frame, removable rear subframe for easier maintenance, and an aluminum swingarm. Wheel sizes are 21 inches front and 18 inches rear. Bridgestone AT41 tires measure 90/90-21 and 150/70-18. The 21-inch front wheel is the clear adventure statement, providing greater directional stability on gravel and unpaved roads than a 17-inch front.

Ready-to-ride weight is 235 kg. That is heavy for an adventure bike in this class. The source compares the Husqvarna Norden 901 at 215 kg and the Triumph Tiger 900 GT at 219 kg. The Enduro Veloce carries roughly 20 kg more than those rivals. That is the compromise involved in putting a 124-hp triple into a steel-framed adventure chassis. On backroads, the weight is far less noticeable. In tight technical terrain, it can make a difference.

Two New Colors for 2026

Nero Intenso / Grigio Antracite combines dark gray and anthracite for riders who want MV Agusta design in a more understated form. Bianco Perlato RC / Blu Nordico combines white and blue. RC stands for Racing Colours, MV Agusta’s way of maintaining a visual connection between racetrack heritage and road motorcycles. Both finishes are new for 2026 and unmistakably on-brand.

From EUR 19,100 and a Five-Year Warranty

German pricing starts at EUR 19,100 plus ancillary charges, backed by a five-year factory warranty. In comparison, our sources show a BMW R 1300 GS Adventure is around EUR 22,400 with 145 hp and 268 kg, a Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer around EUR 22,000 with 150 hp, and a Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition around EUR 18,000 with 105 hp. At 124 hp and EUR 19,100, the Enduro Veloce sits between the Husqvarna and BMW, with its three-cylinder character as the defining point of difference.

Verdict

The MV Agusta Enduro Veloce 950 is now properly equipped for travel: a 124-hp triple with a counter-rotating crankshaft, Euro 5+, aluminum side cases, crash bars, center stand, LED auxiliary lights, Bridgestone AT41 tires from the factory, EAS 4.0 quickshifter, four riding modes, a complete electronics package, and a five-year warranty. Price is EUR 19,100 plus EUR 495 ancillary charges. This is a motorcycle MV Agusta got right on the second attempt.
