2026 Norton Atlas GT

With the new Atlas GT, Norton positions a mid-size crossover in 2026 that prioritizes everyday riding and asphalt touring over gravel exploration. The 585 cc parallel twin focuses on character rather than peak performance, delivering elastic midrange pull that suits relaxed backroad riding.

In terms of riding feel, stability takes center stage: 17-inch cast wheels and road-focused tires bring precision in corners and composure on the highway. Strengths include its extensive assistance and comfort features as well as the lower seat height, while weaknesses remain the still-developing dealer network and the comparatively limited performance against established competitors. Direct rivals include the Kawasaki Versys 650, Yamaha Tracer 7, and Suzuki V-Strom 650.

Technically, the GT differs from the standard Atlas primarily through its 17/17-inch cast wheels, road tires, and reduced suspension travel. The regular Atlas runs a 19-inch front wheel and is clearly more versatile off-road.
