2026 Peugeot Metropolis SW

The Metropolis SW is the touring flagship of Peugeot’s three-wheel family. Compared to the Active, it adds i-Connect navigation with two years of free GPS subscription, adjustable rear suspension, and a keyless 54-liter top case that also serves as a passenger backrest. Total storage is 76 liters, with capacity for items up to 90 cm in length. It can be ridden from age 21 with a Class B license.

At over 285 kg fully fueled, the SW is the heaviest model in the Metropolis lineup. The 399 cc single with 36 hp is sufficient for city and country roads, but highway riding requires some patience. The GPS subscription becomes chargeable after two years. The model targets commuters who want maximum storage combined with three-wheel stability.

Three alternatives are available: The Kymco CV3 575 is more powerful but more expensive. The Piaggio MP3 530 offers comparable three-wheel technology with more performance but at a higher price. The Yamaha Tricity 300 is cheaper and lighter, but offers significantly less storage and no touring equipment.
