2026 Royal Enfield Bear 650

The Bear 650 is Royal Enfield’s “twin with dirt on its boots”: upright ergonomics, rugged presence, and an engine that prefers midrange torque over high-rev aggression. The air-/oil-cooled 650 cc parallel twin responds smoothly to throttle input, delivers stronger midrange punch, and perfectly suits flowing backroad riding. With its Showa suspension and 19-inch front wheel, it turns in neutrally, remains stable, and feels composed even on poor asphalt.

Direct competitors include the Triumph Scrambler 900, Ducati Scrambler Icon, and Yamaha XSR700. The Triumph is more classic and comfortable but more expensive. The Ducati is lighter and more agile but also pricier. The Yamaha is capable in everyday use and affordable but less convincing as a true scrambler.

Within the Royal Enfield twin lineup, the Bear stands out as the rougher, more off-road-oriented option compared to the Interceptor and Continental GT—more attitude, less café.
