2026 Suzuki DR-Z4SM

The DR-Z4SM brings the increasingly rare supermoto concept back into the A2 class. The 398 cc single delivers linear power and is easy to control.

On the road, the Suzuki shines with playful handling, excellent control under hard braking, and a geometry that naturally favors tight corners. At the same time, it clearly lacks the comfort and high-speed stability of larger-displacement machines, especially on highways.

Compared to the KTM 390 SMC R, the Suzuki feels more mature and stable but comes at a higher price. Against the Ducati Hypermotard 698 or KTM 690 SMC R, it lacks power but compensates with A2 accessibility and a lower entry barrier.

Its strength is approachable agility; its weakness is the relatively high price for its performance class.
