2026 Suzuki GSX-8R

As a fully faired midrange bike, the GSX-8R targets riders who want sporty styling and real cornering performance without stepping into extreme superbike territory. The 776 cc parallel twin delivers strong midrange torque and a V-twin-like character thanks to its 270° crank layout. The chassis offers precise turn-in, stable cornering, and strong braking performance via dual 310 mm front discs.

Direct competitors include the Yamaha R7, Aprilia RS 660, and Kawasaki Ninja 650. The Yamaha is more purist but less versatile. The Aprilia is lighter and more dynamic but more expensive. The Kawasaki is comfortable but less sporty.

Within Suzuki’s 800 lineup, the GSX-8R is the more sport-oriented counterpart to the GSX-8S.
