The newly introduced Cafe Racer Edition is essentially a Speed Twin 1200 RS with styling and details typically reserved for expensive custom builds. The 1200 cc twin responds directly, delivers strong low-end torque, and makes fast backroad riding effortless. With sportier components such as a flatter handlebar and single-seat layout, the riding position becomes more front-focused without compromising comfort.

Direct competitors include the Ducati Monster, Kawasaki Z900RS, and BMW R12 nineT. The Ducati feels more like a naked bike and less classic. The Kawasaki evokes strong retro styling with modern performance underneath. The BMW offers boxer character and shaft drive, which appeals to some riders but not all.
