2026 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 TFC

TFC stands for Triumph Factory Custom, and the Speed Twin 1200 TFC is the most uncompromising special edition Triumph could create from its successful retro naked bike. The technical basis is the Speed Twin 1200 RS, upgraded with a fully adjustable Öhlins rear shock and fully adjustable 43 mm Öhlins fork with 120 mm of travel, a twin titanium Akrapovič exhaust system, plus carbon-fiber body panels and fenders. Clip-on handlebars, machined bar-end mirrors, and gold accents on the fork, shock, and chain complete the factory-custom treatment. Ready to ride, the TFC weighs 214 kg – two kilos less than the RS.

Engine and electronics are identical to the production model: 105 hp, 112 Nm, three riding modes, quickshifter, and cornering ABS. Anyone expecting major engine upgrades will therefore find the real technical gains in the chassis, not the powertrain. At EUR 20,895, the TFC costs around EUR 6,800 more than the standard Speed Twin. Part of that premium is accounted for by the Öhlins fork and Akrapovič system, which the source values at nearly EUR 3,800 combined on the aftermarket. The target audience is collectors and committed Speed Twin enthusiasts.

In direct comparison, the TFC faces the Kawasaki Z900RS as another premium retro naked bike. The Ducati Diavel addresses a similar premium customer with a very different concept, while the BMW R nineT brings boxer character and a different interpretation of the retro theme at a similar price.
