2026 Vespa Primavera Tech Elettrica 70

The Vespa Primavera Tech Elettrica 70 is the only 70 km/h model in Piaggio’s Elettrica lineup. The 4 kW motor is mounted in the swingarm and drives the rear wheel via gear transmission. The fixed 4.2 kWh LG Chem battery charges via coiled cable in four hours from a household outlet. Manufacturer range is 80 km, with around 69 km measured in testing. The Tech package includes keyless system, single-channel ABS, and two riding modes.

At 130 kg, the Elettrica 70 is heavier than comparable electric scooters and limited in charging options: no fast charging and no wallbox support. The fixed battery creates challenges for users without private parking. Target riders are style-conscious urban commuters committed to Vespa design.

The Honda CUV e: is cheaper and offers removable batteries with similar range. The BMW CE 02 is more expensive, more dynamic, and offers greater range. The Kymco Ionex also uses removable batteries but lacks the Vespa’s brand prestige.
