2026 Yamaha NMAX 155 Tech Max

With the YECVT transmission, the NMAX 155 Tech Max introduces a real innovation in its class: the electronically controlled CVT simulates riding modes and a downshift function reminiscent of a manual gearbox. In addition, it features a TFT display with integrated Garmin navigation, Smart Key, start-stop system, and a leather seat — an equipment level unmatched in the segment. At 132 kg, it remains as agile as a typical 125 cc scooter.

The downside of the advanced technology is a higher price compared to competitors. The 7.1-liter tank limits long-distance capability, and the 15 hp output sits just above A1 limits, restricting it to A2 and B license holders in Germany. Strong competition from the Honda PCX 125 and Kymco Skytown 125 highlights how competitive this segment is.
