2026 Yamaha Tracer 7 GT

The Tracer 7 GT remains the touring-oriented version of Yamaha’s midrange platform. The CP2 twin with 73 hp delivers linear power and strong everyday usability. On the road, the GT feels more mature than the base model: the suspension works more stably, ergonomics support long-distance riding, and the standard luggage system reinforces its touring focus. The light and agile handling remains a key strength, especially on backroads, while at very high speeds it lacks the composure of larger triple-cylinder machines.

Compared to the standard Tracer 7, the €1,500 higher price brings touring extras such as luggage, center stand, and additional comfort features. Technically, the engine and base chassis remain unchanged. The GT Y-AMT adds automated shifting for even greater comfort.

Compared to the Kawasaki Versys 650 and Triumph Tiger Sport 660, the Yamaha stands out with low weight and agility, while rivals may offer more power or higher-end electronics.
