2026 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT

The Tracer 9 GT remains Yamaha’s golden middle ground between sport and travel. The torquey CP3 triple responds cleanly, pulls energetically from the midrange, and perfectly matches the stable yet agile chassis geometry. On backroads, the GT feels precise on turn-in and very composed under acceleration, while on the highway it impresses with strong stability and comfortable ergonomics.

Compared to the Tracer 9 GT Y-AMT, the GT does without the automated transmission system and relies on a conventional clutch and foot shifter. Compared to the Tracer 9 GT+, it mainly lacks radar assistance including adaptive cruise control as well as the additional high-tech focus.

Compared to the BMW F 900 XR, Triumph Tiger Sport 660, or Ducati Multistrada V2, the Yamaha stands out technically with its strong triple and well-balanced touring equipment, while remaining more affordable than many premium alternatives.
