2026 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT Y-AMT

The Tracer 9 GT Y-AMT takes the familiar GT concept to the next level of comfort. Its torque-strong triple delivers powerful drive from the midrange, remains eager to rev, and perfectly matches its sport-touring character. In terms of riding dynamics, the Yamaha impresses with precise turn-in, high stability, and good transparency, without sacrificing agility.

The key difference to the standard Tracer 9 GT is Y-AMT: the clutch lever and foot shifter are eliminated, with shifting handled automatically or via handlebar controls. Compared to the Tracer 9 GT+, the Y-AMT GT remains closer to the traditional sport tourer concept, as the GT+ places more emphasis on radar assistance and is technically more complex and heavier.

Competition primarily comes from the BMW F 900 XR, Ducati Multistrada V2, and Triumph Tiger Sport 660, which in some cases offer more sporty performance or higher output, but do not provide a comparable Y-AMT concept.
