2026 Yamaha Tricity 300

The Tricity 300 is Yamaha’s city-focused three-wheel scooter with proprietary LMW leaning technology: two independently suspended front wheels provide increased grip and secure handling even on poor surfaces. The Blue Core single-cylinder from the XMAX 300 delivers 28 hp, combined with traction control, keyless system, and a Standing Assist function that keeps the scooter upright when stationary. The underseat storage is LED-lit and fits two helmets.

At 239 kg, weight is significantly higher than comparable two-wheel scooters — the LMW system comes at a cost. There is no step-through. At nearly €9,600, the Tricity 300 is priced above the Piaggio MP3 310. Riders who do not require the additional stability may find conventional scooters more economical. In Germany, it can be ridden with a Class B license from age 21.

The closest competitors in the three-wheel segment are the Piaggio MP3 310 and MP3 310 Sport. Among two-wheel scooters, the Honda Forza 350 and Yamaha XMAX 300 offer cheaper alternatives.
