2026 Yamaha XSR 900 GP

The XSR 900 GP represents the sportiest interpretation of the XSR lineup: the 890 cc triple with 119 hp combines strong midrange torque with free-revving performance, while the riding position is clearly more front-wheel-oriented. On the road, it feels more precise and stable than the naked version, and the small fairing reduces wind pressure on the upper body without compromising agility.

Compared to the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS and KTM 990 Duke, it lacks the last degree of sharpness in quick direction changes, but counters with more long-distance composure and wind protection. Compared to the Kawasaki Z900RS, it delivers similarly sharp performance and a more complete electronics package.

The difference to the €1,900 cheaper XSR 900 lies mainly in the half-fairing and the more aggressive ergonomics with clip-on handlebars. In addition, the GP footpegs are positioned higher, and it weighs 7 kg more.
