2026 Zero XE

The Zero XE is the brand’s first model specifically designed for off-road use and targets riders with A1 licenses as well as car drivers using the B196 extension. With 15.5 kW peak output and 11 kW continuous, it sits exactly at the A1 limit. The removable 4.3 kWh battery enables around 100 km range and can be charged off the bike — a key advantage for off-road riding without nearby power sources.

Charging time of 5.5 hours is long, and no fast charging option is available. With a 900 mm seat height, it requires a certain rider size and is not suited to smaller beginners. The target group consists of experienced A1 riders seeking a lightweight electric trail bike with real off-road capability.

In the electric off-road segment, the XE competes with the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee R/T, which is lighter and also features a removable battery. The Stark Varg EX offers significantly more performance but is heavier and more expensive. The KTM Freeride E is a direct competitor with a similar use case.
