The 699 cc inline triple responds cleanly, delivers strong midrange torque, and revs willingly without a loss of control. The chassis setup matches this character: it turns in easily, remains stable at lean, and feels surprisingly mature overall. The brakes respond directly and are easy to modulate, lending themselves to a fast backroad rhythm.

Direct competitors include the Yamaha MT-09, Triumph Street Triple 765, and Kawasaki Z900. The Yamaha is more powerful and offers more advanced electronics but will likely be significantly more expensive. The Triumph is the most precise but also likely more costly. The Kawasaki is accessible and powerful, but again price remains a key factor.
